A Story for You!

Jesus is the Saviour of the world.

At the beginning of time, Mankind sinned by not eating from a tree what they were told not to. This brought death to all of the things in the world, including mankind. As sin requires a payment of death, the blood of animals was required to be offered for that payment, but it was a temporary payment. For over 14 millennia, animals were substituted to pay for the sin of mankind. Then, God, the Father sent his only son, Jesus, to be the permanent payment for the sin of mankind. Jesus spent 33 years on this earth as a perfect person. Then he allowed himself to be crucified on a cross to pay for the sin of the world, permanently, through his blood. He was dead for three days before he rose from the dead. Jesus paid the permanent price for the sin of mankind and allowed mankind to have eternal life. Great news for all of mankind who no longer have to individually for their sin, but in order for a person’s sin to be able to be permanently paid for, they have to acknowledge Jesus’ sacrifice and accept him as LORD. Then, and only then, is the person able to live forever. If a person denies Jesus’ sacrifice, they will pay for their sin forever by burning continually in hell for all eternity.

Please take a few minutes and decide whether to acknowledge Jesus’ sacrifice or deny his sacrifice.

About Jesus of Nazareth

Jesus of Nazareth is the son of God. While on earth, he did many great things. One of the things Jesus did that amazed so many people was feeding five thousand people. It was so amazing that four different disciples wrote an account about it.

Mark wrote about how a great crowd had come to hear Jesus teach many things (6:32-44). When the hour grew late, the disciples wanted Jesus to send the people away for them to find something to eat. Jesus told the disciples to feed the people. Now, Jesus and his disciples went about the country a lot. They did not have steady jobs or income. How did Jesus expect them to feed so many people. Jesus told them to see how many bread loaves  were in the crowd. They went and said 5 loaves and 2 fish. Jesus looked to his Father in heaven while blessing the food, before breaking the loaves and fishes to give to the people. There were over 5,000 men who ate until they were full. That is not all!! There were 12 baskets full of broken pieces of fish and bread. Can you believe it? This story was so amazing that Matthew (14:13-21), Luke (9:10-17), and John (6:1-15) all wrote about it too.

Jesus was truly amazing and the accounts in the Bible only talk about little snippets of his life over the period of three years. Jesus spoke to a storm and it listened. Jesus walked on water. Jesus even turned water into wine. Jesus also did miraculous healing. Jesus healed people who were deaf, blind, sick, and so much more.
